It is all a part of the fantasy to have the elements, but still remain practical.
City building codes do not allow for commercial structures to be built in a tree. The stability is not there and it becomes an issue of safety. In addition to this, attaching to a tree could affect it’s growth or overall lifespan. Tree’s are also susceptible to wind, rot, and the many environmental changes that can occur during the life of a tree. Sanctuary Treehouse Resort is preserving the land by carefully building within it’s topography and intentionally not disturbing the woodlands, the many animals that reside there, while maintaining it’s natural beauty.
So yes, the treehouses have been built among the trees with many “tree features” added that are authentic and some custom carving that will delight all of those that have come here to experience staying in a treehouse!
We provide the fun, you bring your imagination and your inner child will thank you!
